A running log of bc17 / Blu changes worth surfacing to the team.

2026-08-13​

  • Worklist for deliveries awaiting post validation. Inventory → Transfers → Awaiting Post Validation lists deliveries that went out but have not yet been checked against a returned trip ticket, oldest first, with a Days Waiting column that turns amber at 3 days and red at 7. A delivery drops off the list as soon as its trip is post-validated. The list is bounded by a go-live cut-off (blu_stock.post_validation_from in Settings → Technical → System Parameters) so the ~26,000 historical deliveries stay out of it. See Inventory → Trip Ticket.
  • Trip Tickets are now in Odoo. A trip ticket is created before dispatch under Inventory → Transfers → Trip Tickets — driver, pahinante and truck set once for the whole trip, then the delivery receipts it carries are ticked from a list. When the ticket comes back with the client-signed DRs, the Delivery Receipts tab is a single editable list for the actual delivery date and whether each one was Complete / Short / Over / Wrong, and Post-Validate & Close stamps the whole trip in one click. Recording a variance is monitoring only — it never changes quantities on the order, delivery or invoice. Sales orders gain a Trip Ticket column and a second SLA measured against the real delivery date; the existing SLA is untouched and still feeds current reporting. See Inventory → Trip Ticket.
  • Delivery accountability — who picked, loaded and validated. Delivery Receipts now carry Picked By and Loaded By (both allow more than one person), plus a Validated By / Validated On stamp that Odoo fills automatically and never rewrites. Because the picking list is printed before anyone knows who will pick it, the two name fields stay editable after the delivery is validated — for the Delivery Accountability Encoders group. People are maintained in a short list under Inventory → Configuration → Delivery Staff, with toggles for picks / loads / drives / pahinante. New No Picker Recorded and No Loader Recorded filters and a Group By → Validated By make the gaps easy to find. This is stage 1 of the Trip Ticket rollout. See Inventory → Delivery Accountability.

2026-05-23​

  • Purchase Requisitions gate added in front of Auto-RFQ. The reordering-rule cron no longer creates a draft RFQ directly — it now creates a draft Purchase Requisition owned by the warehouse team. The warehouse reviews lines and clicks Submit for Approval; the head of the new PR Approvers group approves (or rejects) via a tokenized Viber link, no Odoo login required. On approval the PR locks, a draft RFQ is born with a placeholder vendor ([TBD] Vendor to be assigned) for purchasing to set, and the existing Purchasing-Team notification fires at that moment instead of at cron time. 2026-05-22​

  • Repair service workflow now notifies clients automatically. When a service is scheduled (or rescheduled) the customer gets a Viber message with the technician and date; when the repair is completed they receive a Viber link to a no-login satisfaction survey. Responses are reviewable under Repairs → Portal Access → Service Surveys and via a Surveys smart button on the Repair Order. See Repairs → Service Workflow.
  • Expiring Stock watch-list added. A new Reports → Expiring Stock list surfaces every lot/batch that still has quantity on hand and is already expired or expiring within 9 months — colour-coded red/amber, with filters and group-by. The same live list is published on a no-login web link for phone access, and opted-in users get a short Viber summary every morning at 9:00 AM. Opt in via Settings → Users → Preferences → Receives Expiring-Stock Alerts. See Inventory → Expiring Stock Watch-List.

2026-05-20​

  • SLA badge now on Delivery Orders. Every outgoing picking inherits the SLA from its sale order, so warehouse and dispatch staff can spot at-risk deliveries from the Transfers list without opening the underlying SO. New columns, filters, and a Group By → SLA Status are available out of the box. See Inventory → Delivery Orders SLA.

  • Docs site launched at https://blu-docs.panville.com. Built with Docusaurus 3.10, includes an AI chat assistant grounded in this documentation.
  • MRP plan drafted for the Blu Coffee roastery. Covers the existing-FG → new-FG repackaging flow (e.g. Blu Espresso Blend 500g → Sugbo Blend 70g). See Manufacturing → MRP Plan Overview.
